In this modern day and time, air travel is widely accepted as the safest mode of transportation. A large part of this is due to the strict regulations surrounding aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). From passenger seats to flight controls, every decision in commercial aviation comes after careful consideration of its impact of safety. As such, quality driven MRO facilities are a key and vital part in maintaining and promoting aviation safety, for your ease of mind the next time you travel by air.
AIROD, a subsidiary of National Aerospace & Defence Industries (NADI) was established in 1976 and today is a world-class aviation MRO facility in Malaysia to support fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Strengthened by more than two decades of technical expertise and excellence, AIROD has transformed from a national player to a recognized brand in the global aviation MRO industry, servicing more than 78 customers worldwide.
In March 2012, under NADI’s expansion plan, AIROD commercial unit is now transformed to AIROD Aerospace Technology (AAe) to enhance the Commercial Aviation MRO expertise and services coverage. AAe currently operates within a facility with 7 hangars capable to accommodate 15 aircraft bays capacity including a dedicated environmentally control paint hangar.
AAe facility is strategically located in Subang International Airport, Malaysia with ample parking and flexible hangar capacities. Being located in Malaysia also has the added bonus of having custom duty tax exemption for all aviation parts import and export.
AAe’s management and technical team have accumulated an average of 25 years commercial airlines and MRO experience. As an independent MRO, we are dedicated in providing quality and competitive labour rates, ensuring a reliable and fastest turn-around-time (TAT) and superior customer service.
